UWR Luxembourg at Champions Cup 2022

The UWR Luxembourg team took part in the 2022 Champions Cup, held from 25 to 27 November 2022 at the Stadtbad Tempelhof in Berlin, in the male/mixed category.
The Champions Cup is the international UWR club competition, played every year in Berlin, bringing together the national champions of each country.
It was the first time UWR Luxembourg had taken part, and a great opportunity to play against teams at the highest level of the sport. Luxembourg exceeded expectations, holding their own against some very strong opponents and winning their match against FIRS from Florence, Italy.
UWR Luxembourg finished 12th out of 14 teams in their category. The men/mixed category was won by Orcas from Colombia, while the women’s category was won by Akkaren SDK from Norway.
