Great underwater weekend (October 5th-6th) in Luxembourg in Piscine Cents for this 7th edition of the Melusina Cup 2024 :-). 2 days of a friendly tournament with 8 teams registered and more than 100 players, men & women together! This year again, UWR Luxembourg has proudly participated & played with 2 complete teams. Last weekend we hosted the 6th edition of our Melusina Cup for the 1st time in Cents/Luxembourg and with 2 complete teams from Luxembourg participating! More than 70 players of all levels coming from Germany, Switzerland, UK & of course Luxembourg for this friendly 2-days tournament, with usual team matches on Saturday (congrats to Kaiserslautern who won it for the 2nd year in a row), but also muddled-up teams’ games & only-women game on Sunday, making it even more fun & challenging all along the weekend, and a great experience for the beginners! The UWR Luxembourg team participated at the 2022 Champions Cup, from 25 to 27 November 2022 in Stadtbad Tempelhof in Berlin (in the category male/mixed teams). The Champions Cup is the international UWR club competition, played every year in Berlin, bringing together the national champions of each country. It was the first time that UWR Luxembourg participated, and therefore it was a great opportunity for them to play teams at the highest level of the sport. Luxembourg exceeded expectations by holding their own against some very strong opponents, and winning the match against FIRS from Florence, Italy.
